So I went to this BBQ last night in Monarch Beach, fifteen minutes from home... we were excited to get into this community because we had never seen the homes. I had NO idea that the beach below the homes was like this. Growing up, I have gone to Salt Creek, just left of it..walking distance and it is the complete opposite from this. They had little bus boys all over the beach that set up chairs with towels hanging on them, set up the bonfire so the people that lived there and probably renting out the pit didn't have to get their hands dirty with matches, and they picked up all their play toys and picked the people up (in the little golf cart) when they were done playing at the beach. I was shocked. What happened to everyone just hangin at the beach?
