  1. Lexy is my hero! I've seen a lot of strong women in my life, and I am pretty sure she can be the President and spokesperson for all of them! She knew what she wanted, and she made it happen. She encouraged her SELF when things got tough. I felt so lucky to be there and witness the magic that was Saylor's arrival. Jay and Lex are an amazing team, building up this rockstar family. So much good energy in that home. We all felt so many emotions that night/morning. Calmness, intensity, excitement, serenity.. pure happiness. It was a wild and beautiful ride! Congrats Merrifield family!

  2. Baby Dean's birth was nothing short of beautiful and peaceful. Mama Kelli fully trusted her body to do it's thing, and she decided ahead of time that he'd be born in this new birth center in Mission Hospital. But once those near birth contractions came to her back, she could tell he was coming SOON and she felt like (and knew) that the warm shower water would really help her. So she did it! And he did come soon, within 20 minutes of moving from her check-in room. The shower was perfect. For a whole 10 min, I was filling up my cameras and getting ready for a quick birth- and Kirk and I were small-chattin it up.. and all of the sudden, we hear her say, "Kirk, he's coming soon!" and we were around the corner, she was doing it all by herself! Such a rock star. She's so inspiring. And I feel so lucky that I got to be there and I will get to watch this nugget grow up. He's pretty cute!!!

  3. Pippa's Birth

    31.3.18

What a dream it was to be there with this sweet family during her labor & after! When I arrived, it was quiet and dark. Erin was in the part of birth where she could still get some rest and she let the epidural do it's thing. Sleeping almost. Grandma excited and letting people know via text, what was goin on. Sam watching a movie, because why not! Then the moment she started moaning, I knew it was time.. transition was here and baby would be here in minutes! Such an exciting time. Erin birthed like a warrior. Dr. James was the bomb! And these boys have been over the moon waiting for their baby sister to join them. And so have we all!! She's a lucky girl. Welcome Pippa!!!! <3

Used all sorts of film on this one- portra 800/fuji 400 and 400tx.
