  1.  We spent a couple nights up in El Capitan Canyon, a cozy little (rather large) campsite in a big "Safari tent"- with a bunch of families from San Clemente. Such a blast. Can't wait to do it all over again next year!

  2. My little brother Blake used to go to Mexico a few times a month, it's so close and the surf is right there- so he might as well! Right before his mission, he got a little crew to go do one last surf sesh. It was pretty wild and fun and exhausting and beautiful. I just went down without Drew and the kids. And of course brought my Bronica.

    Half ektar, half Fuji 400. I'm sure you can tell which are which.

  3. I was trying not to pose them as I would bride + grooms, buttt it was hard not to when they all love each other so much! My brother asked me to be the photographer for them.. but not to spend too much $ on film. So 3 rolls it was. Boom. 

    Ah, the days of being dependent on your parents and having a high school sweetheart. Those were the days!!! I mean look at the pics!!

  4. We thought we would be a fun spontaenous family and take the kids on a plane ride to see Nana and friends in Utah. And it did turn out to be fun! Living far from the Capener family isn't easy. There is so much love to give in that home that we always hate to leave it. But keeps us looking forward to our next visit.

    Finn got to sleep at Nana's house for a few nights while we snuck away to Park City with friends that we will have for life! It was so relaxing and good for the soul. Let's just say Finn had the time of his tiny 2 year old life that he started getting out of his crib and it took us a solid 2 weeks to get back on track (kinda) afterwards..:)
