I loved heading over to San Francisco to meet up with these cool cats, Erica & Mark. I had yet been to the Oakland Temple so it was a treat to be there. We then headed over to Palo Alto where the luncheon & reception was held. To my surprise, the luncheon place ended up being totally gluten-free! I am a celiac and so I'm used to telling my wedding party, "thanks but I am highly allergic to probably everything you have to offer me.." which can be sometimes awkward or sad because they WANT to feed me as a treat, and to sit and relax for a second. But THIS time when I told the bride & groom "don't worry, I can't eat any of it anyways", they quickly told me that most of the food is gluten-free and it's known for it! I hurried over to the manager and ordered the best chicken tacos I've had in a long time. The reception was at this old church building that was all wood. I could have spent all night there. Thanks to everyone for having me out.
